Frontotemporal Dementia Telephone Support Group
The UCSF Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) Telephone Support Group serves adult children of FTD patients. People anywhere in the country are welcome to join the discussion by phone. Participation is free. Please contact the group facilitator for the call-in number and to clarify the meeting time.

Huntington's Disease Support Group
The UCSF Huntington's Disease Support Group welcomes individuals affected with or at risk for Huntington's disease, as well as their family members, loved ones, friends and caregivers. The group offers support and education in a caring, safe and relaxed environment. The format is informal, with occasional guest speakers who share their knowledge of medical management, research and resources.

Living with Dementia Caregiver Support Group
The UCSF Living with Dementia Caregiver Support Group provides an environment for families and friends of patients diagnosed with dementia to share their experiences and receive support. Walk-ins are welcome. This group is free and is co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association and UCSF Memory and Aging Center.

Meetings: Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease Support Groups
The UCSF Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease Support Groups are designed for patients who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease before age 65 and for their caregivers or partners. To participate, patients must be in the mild stage. The patient support group allows individuals with Alzheimer's disease to share thoughts and feelings with others who are having similar experiences. The caregiver group provides support, validates difficulties associated with caregiving, addresses emotional challenges and instills coping skills. Facilitators also offer education on neurodegenerative diseases and discuss new research developments.
